Inspiration: Where Do YOU Find It?

The title of this post actually says it all.  How do you get inspired?  Through photos, people watching, nature?  If you are not finding it in everything, you are cheating yourself.  I would have killed to have my camera with me at a huge public park the other day.  There was a jogger getting ready for his run with a small dog on the end of a leash.  The jogger was lifting his leg, pulling it up and back to stretch out his quadriceps.  On the end of the leash, his small dog was lifting his leg to….well you get the picture.  Wait, you don’t because I forgot my camera, but it does put a visual in your head.

I find inspiration everywhere, but some of my biggest influences come from the awesome work of others.  I found a really amazing site called Street Art Utopia – the link is posted below.  Most people would just call it graffiti, but it is way more than that. The picture below, of the character Smeagol from Lord of The Rings, is just a small example of the incredible talent found just outside your door.  Don’t miss what’s right in front of your nose.
